Dr. Kirit Pandya elected Secretary of Ocean County Medical Society

Ocean County Medical Society elected Dr. Kirit Pandya to be the Secretary for the year 2009-10 in their annual meeting in Point Pleasant Beach today. Dr. Wayne Foster took over as the President from Dr. Teresa Thomas. Dr. Anil Gupta was elected to the Board of Trustees and Dr. Kutumba Pitta was elected as an alternate delegate to the MSNJ. Drs Vipul Lakhani and Sanjay Bhagat of MOCAAPI already serve on the Board.
The meeting was also attended by New Jersey Senator Jennifer Beck (R-12th district) who addressed the members and informed them about an important malpractice reform bill she is planning to introduce in the NJ senate. Congressman Adler who was scheduled to attend had a message read out to the members as well.
Dr. Pandya was also recognized by the outgoing President, Dr. Teresa Thomas, for more than 20 years of service to the Medical Society.
