This year, the proceeds from charitable ticket sales, auction items and other donations will benefit the FoodBank of Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
Did you know?
- Over 100,000 people in Monmouth and Ocean Counties live on incomes that put them at risk of hunger.
- One out of every four people that receive emergency food is a child.
- Last year the FoodBank gave out over 5 million pounds of food for families in need through area food pantries, soup kitchens and other food programs in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Requests for emergency food are up 30% as a result of the current recession.
We need your help now more than ever before!
How can I help?
- Purchase the charitable ticket at the price of $250 where half of that amount would go to the FoodBank.
- Participate in the Auction: Donate an item for auction or place bids
- Bring at least one non-perishable food item to the gala and feed those that go without. Items most needed are ready-to-eat canned meals, canned fruits and vegetables and breakfast cereals.
- Donate any amount even if you cannot attend
